Prayer Meetings
It was as a result of prayer back in the 1970s that Emmaus School came in to existence. Each yeart he school holds three prayer meetings, one each term. They are always on a Monday evening (Mondays usually avoid clashes with church meetings) at 7.30pm.
Everyone is welcome to join in and the meetings usually include parents, teachers and governors as well as grandparents, former pupils and supporters. A speaker - often a pastor of a local church - will come and encourage us from God's word then there will be times of open prayer - there is always so much to give thanks for, but there are also many needs to bring to God as well. These meetings are great times of ministry, prayer and fellowship and are not to be missed.
There are regular prayer meetings held each month and staff meet regularly for prayer as well.
"...in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." Philippians 4 verse 6.
