"Many, O Lord my God are the wonders you have done"

Psalm 40 v 5

This it the poem the Seniors recited by way of a "Thank You" to all the Governors and Helpers - each section was written by a different pupil.

This evening is a chance to say,

How much we appreciate what you do and say.

Maybe you're a helper, who saw the need,

Or one of those who take the lead.

How encouraging it is to know when people like you want to show

Without people like Mr and Mrs Moore,

Our life would be a great big bore.

They never tire of hearing the little ones read,

You're the ones we really need!

Without people like you in our life,

School wouldn't be very nice.

Chloe Francis helps the readers improve.

While Mrs Gulliford keeps their maths on the move.

Thursday is Mrs Richards's day,

When she teaches grammar and history in her own way.

Rachel Oliver is on a roll,

Keeping the little ones under control.

When the children are in a bore,

Mrs Woodger comes in and teaches them how to draw.

So thank you for coming here,

we wish you well in this coming year.

The windows come out

Oh dear, call Mr. Ridout,

He’ll fix any door

That's fallen to the floor,

Someone’s cut a tree down and it’s beginning to fall,

Ah! Look over here, its Mr. Angel!

He goes over the fence to get back all our balls,

And over the other side he falls!

Then along comes Mr. Hope,

We're all safe in this school we hope,

We've heard you're doing the building maintenance

So in you we trust with utmost confidence

What would we do without Tracey Anne

With her fabulous travel plan

Mrs Angell is a star

When she is our registrar.

Mrs Woodger’s newsletter

Makes the parents feel much better.

Mrs Jarvis counts the money

When it’s too much – it’s not funny

ICT is very fun,

Especially with Hannah's Mum.

One of her students booked a flight,

Not realising Mum was in sight.

When our computers are broken,

Mr Mackey will come in, A

nd before a word is even spoken,

Mr Mackey will start to win.

Mr Richards senior is our friend,

Although his son joined us in the end.

From chemistry to physics, he knows it all the same,

But if you forget your homework, you're the one to blame.

Dr. Oliver helps with Latin, he's a great teacher too,

He prefers his coffee to his tea, except Ashley's style as he makes a to-do

The history teacher you can guess, is Mrs Taylor here,

She teaches "Women's Vote" at best, she's been a great help this year.

The greatest biology teacher on earth has turned in with us tonight,

She's Mrs Salkeld and helps with maths, her answers are always right.

We're sorry that Mrs Munday is unable to attend,

She's excellent at Spanish, and plays the violin with a trend.

Mrs Gulliford is the geography teacher, she helps Daniel well,

And when it comes to his exams, the long words he'll be able to spell

The governors do different jobs,

Mr Wiltshire is the boss. He helps Mr Jarvis with the dosh.

Mr Stone keeps the website running,

Mr Hope sets everything going,

Mrs Alsop's advice we need.

But when it comes to Mr Richards he takes the scientific lead.

Without Mrs Wiltshire we would make less sense than apple in a pumpkin tree.
