Throughout the year we have supported various charities and raised money to help them in their work.

Classes 2-4 joined in a sponsored jump rope for British Heart Foundation and raised £204.

We raised £14.71 for the Poppy Appeal, which raises money for The Royal British Legion.

At Christmas, 24 shoeboxes were filled with gifts and given to ‘Operation Christmas Child’. This is a project run by Samaritan’s Purse. The shoeboxes were given to needy children in countries in Eastern Europe and beyond.

Our biggest fundraising efforts have been in support of Robin Hood Ministries. The money raised will go to Starlight Children’s Home in Nepal. Many students filled Smartie tubes with £1 coins, and there have been some interesting events to raise money: a sponsored bike ride, a cake sale, car washes, a sponsored run and even a sponsored hair cut
So far, we have raised more than £450 for the Children’s Home and it is hoped that this will be a bigger amount by the end of the summer term!
