"Be joyful always; pray continually;

give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus."

1 Thessalonians

                   Fundraising

Throughout the year we have supported various charities and raised money to help them in their work.

  • Classes 2-4 joined in a sponsored jump rope for British Heart Foundation and raised £204.

  • We raised £14.71 for the Poppy Appeal, which raises money for The Royal British Legion.

  • At Christmas, 24 shoeboxes were filled with gifts and given to ‘Operation Christmas Child’. This is a project run by Samaritan’s Purse. The shoeboxes were given to needy children in countries in Eastern Europe and beyond.

  • Our biggest fundraising efforts have been in support of Robin Hood Ministries.  The money raised will go to Starlight Children’s Home in Nepal. Many students filled Smartie tubes with £1 coins, and there have been some interesting events to raise money:  a sponsored bike ride, a cake sale, car washes,  a sponsored run and even a sponsored hair cut

So far, we have raised more than £450 for the Children’s Home and it is hoped that this will be a bigger amount by the end of the summer term!
